Quickies: 03/28/2012

Writer and filmmaker Sal Bardo, who has just released a documentary on bug chasers called–appropriately–Chaser, talks a little bit about it at Huffington Post.

In case you needed positive proof that NOM is an evil organization, these leaked memos explicitly confirm their strategy of marketing homophobia to black Americans. Fuck those guys so hard.

In case NOM has lost all power to enrage you, apparently Germany thinks it’s AOK to forcibly institutionalize trans children.

But on the plus side, everyone’s favorite gay character is apparently coming back to Mad Men.

    I'm curious about the rest of the story out of Germany.  This doesn't sound like it's the whole picture.
    The Mad Men thing is just going to give people another reason to start bugging me to watch the show.  Dangit.

    I *adore* Mad Men. I haven't started the season because it will make me not cancel cable like I plan to do this week. But I'm SOOO glad they're bringing him back! *squee*

      It must be possible to get without cable, or my girlfriend wouldn't be watching it.  Neither of us own a TV.  She is watching online somewhere.

        Yeah, I think it's available on Hulu and iTunes. Just not sure I want to spend the money. 😉
