Afternoon Inqueery

AI: Part-time travel

Hey folks,

It might be the fact that I was on my feet for four hours straight teaching undergrads about antibodies and am now nursing a headache from hell, or that I’m experiencing Doctor Who withdrawals; either way I thought I’d keep it simple today:

What would you do if you could go back in time, but only by a day? Would you change anything about your last 24 hours?

I for one, would’ve made sure to have a proper breakfast this morning before my class. I always underestimate that most important meal. I would most likely nap for twice as long too.

The Afternoon Inqueery (or AI) is a question posed to you, the Queereka community. Look for it to appear on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 3pm ET.

Ooh good question. I would go back in time and not procrastinate on my school work. I spent a lot of time hanging out with a friend/mentor yesterday and ended up rushing through some work that I didn't wan to rush through.

I would put my dog outside before he puked on the rug.

I wish I knew as a child paleontology was an actual viable career choice & not just something “the man in the magazines” did. I’d go back make sure I’d have worked toward that earlier in life.

If I could go back 24 hours, I wish I'd read the question properly.

I would put parchment paper in the bottom of my cake pans like the recipe said.
I had to throw out a perfectly delicious layer of a cake!

No. Absolutely not. My last 24 hours have been perfect. Had you asked me a day or two before the answer might have been quite different.
