Shamelessly stolen whole-hog from Ms. Magazine blog: “Need another reason to support Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) reauthorization? Concerned Women for America (CWA) is against it.”

The GLBT Historic Task Force of San Diego County is pushing for a naval vessel to be named for Harvey Milk.

Check out this hollaback — LGBT activists in Florida to fly a banner reading “Warning: Homophobes loose in Orlando. Hide your kids!” as a nice counterpoint to the Florida Family Association’s “WARNING: GAY DAY AT DISNEY” schtick.

If I weren’t roughly twice the size of the average Japanese woman, I would so move to Japan right now. Two Prides? Yes, please!

Oh, and if you were looking for another reason to loathe Mitt Romney, he’ll be delivering the commencement address at Liberty University in a couple of weeks. How does he manage to keep making himself even more unlikable? The mind, it boggles.
