AI: (Kind of) New and (Hopefully) Improved!

Regular readers may have noticed a pretty marked drought hereabouts lately–nostra maxima culpa, and we’re working on shaking things up a little bit so we can get some new stuff in the pipeline. To that end:

What are some things you’d like to see from Queereka in the future? Are there any blogs, writers, events, or issues that you’d like to see get more coverage?

The Afternoon Inqueery (or AI) is a question posed to you, the Queereka community. Look for it every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 3pm ET.

I would love to read more about gender. Growing up, this was an area in which I was undereducated, and whenever Will and others make a post about it, I feel that I learn a good deal.

I would also love to see evidence and studies about the damage down to trans* people by the horrific discrimination and bullying they face.

Glad to hear it, and duly noted! I will make an effort to make some more posts in that vein. 😉

You even got me to get Gender Trouble! Unfortunately it’s still languishing by the bed, since the preface was pretty thick… But I am planning on reading it… some day…
