A bit of disheartening news: 48% of gay men would trade a year of their life for the perfect body.
The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that a lesbian couple who separated are both the legal parents of their child. The women co-created the child – one donated her egg for her partner’s pregnancy – but the ruling could benefit the legal standing of same-sex parents.
Lorax, a self-described “anon cis-lesbian,” highlights the invisible privilege of cissexism by juxtaposing it with the cost in suffering to transgender people in her piece, I am cissexist.

I’m not sure I don’t agree with those 48% of gay men. I mean, I could eat healthy and work out 40 hours a week for a year and I still probably wouldn’t have what I would consider a perfect body. If this deal came with certain, you know, modifications*, I would absolutely agree to it.
