Queer fashion
Heads up, San Francisco bay area genderqueer folks! Do you ever get frustrated shopping for formal men’s wear, only to find that the designers don’t expect breasts and hips? I have good news for you: Saint Harridan is an Oakland-based designer who is working on a line of suits that are cut as men’s suits but tailored to women’s bodies. As you can see in the featured image, these are not your mother’s pantsuits.
Even better: they’ve put out a call for models. If you had an estrogen-fueled puberty but love the dignity of a tailored suit, shoot them an email. The last day to get measured is tomorrow, August 11th. Getting measured, however, is not mandatory to be considered. Selected models will get to keep their suit!
That is super cool. I hope they do really well!
Love this!
Argh!! Why am I on the other side of the world to this?!?
