Malala Yousufzai, the fifteen year old girl whom the Taliban attempted to assassinate last year, is recovering from receiving a cochlear implant and titanium plate.
President Obama gave a pre-Superbowl interview in which he denounced the Boy Scouts’ anti-gay policy: “My attitude is that gays and lesbians should have access and opportunity the same way everybody else does, in every institution and walk of life.”

I’m glad Obama is standing up for gay rights. He’s the first president to specifically endorse marriage equality.
The boy scouts have just lifted their ban on gay scouting, in case you haven’t already heard.
